Welcome to Community Home Care!

Community Home Care may have been a new company when it emerged in 2011, but it had years of healthcare experience and compassionate leaders ready for the opportunity to deliver excellent home care services to those who were currently being under served in rural areas.

Rural Health Development (RHD), our parent company, boasts a proud 20+ years of service to the rural areas of Nebraska, Kansas, Wyoming, and Iowa through its management and consulting agreements with nursing homes, assisted livings, and hospitals, as well as its work with starting rural health clinics all across the nation.

Community Home Care’s president, Ron Ross, is also the President of RHD. It is with his vision and passion that we moved into the world of home care. Ron saw a lack of access to in-home services for seniors and people of all ages through his work with the rural facilities and their communities. Together with his daughter Emily and son Matt (both of whom have also devoted their lives to helping others), Community Home Care was born!

Many people will wonder “Why would people involved with nursing homes start a home care  company to help keep people out of nursing homes?” The answer is simple - we want to use our experience and expertise to treat people the way we would want to be treated if the roles were reversed. Let’s face it, HOME truly is where we’d all like to stay as long as possible.

So, whether you are looking for long-term or short-term care, whether you are living at home or in an assisted living facility, Community Home Care is here to provide you with our compassionate, local caregivers who can assist with daily activities of living, such as bathing and grooming, with chores around the house, or providing companionship (please see our complete list of services).
